Answer: horsepower and average fuel economy
Create the scatterplot. Which category is your x-axis and which is your y-axis? Why did you create your scatterplot in that order?
Answer: The x axis is horsepower and the y axis is average fuel economy. We created the graph in this order to show the effect of increasing horsepower on fuel economy.

Answer: Yes. As horsepower increases, average miles per gallon decreases.
